Miller Joins McDermott Will & Emery as Senior Legislative Advisor

WASHINGTON — Former U.S. Rep. Jeff Miller has joined the law firm McDermott Will & Emery as a senior legislative advisor, the firm announced today. Miller will advise clients on veterans’ health care policy from the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

“I think President Trump is doing exactly what he promised… on the VA health care side, I’ve seen a lot of positive things already,” Miller told reporters.

Miller chaired the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee from 2011 until his retirement from Congress in January. Ethics rules bar former members from lobbying Congress during their first year out of office.
